What’s Next?

Ok, so it’s time to fight – how much is this going to cost me?

We know that is typically the next thing most people are thinking and the answer is – ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. If you talk to any other company pretending to offer the same services as Nest Financial and they are asking for an upfront fee, walk away. They are violating both the Federal Trade Commission MARS Act and Washington State regulations under both the Department of Financial Institutions and the Department of Licensing. Actually, you should do more than walk away. We highly encourage you to file a consumer complaint against these companies so that they can’t defraud other consumers.

So what’s the catch? How does Nest Financial get paid?

Quite simply, we get paid from the closing proceeds of a successful short sale. Our goal is to work with you, your real estate agent (or one that we can recommend) and the buyer to put together a deal that we can get the bank to agree to. This is not a simple real estate transaction. It takes time, patience and negotiation skills to keep everyone in the game until a deal closes. We only get paid when we have made that happen.

Great, let’s get started!

Ok, time for a reality check. Just because you own a home that is underwater does not mean the bank will necessarily approve a short sale. At Nest Financial we start with an initial consultation to give you our assessment of your situation before we recommend your next course of action. In many cases that would be to get the property listed for sale with a “Qualified” agent. Everyone’s situation is unique – and we may recommend that your next course of action be to consult an attorney. For us to give you the best possible advice, please complete our Getting Started form and one of our advisors will contact you at once to begin evaluating your situation.
